Okay, since I had to get the buggy up on the trailer I figured now would be a good time to get the winch mounted. Still have to use the gigantic M10000 but I swapped synthetic rope onto the drum so that cut the weight down a bit. Made the winch mount out of some scrap I had laying around.. Also tossed the old springs on the shocks to see how it sits.. it sat with about 6-7 inches of stickout so I'll do some spring swapping. Also, fully drooped the rear axle and I'm gonna have to rotate the pinion up alot to compensate for the shorter upper arms.. the pinion rotates down a bit. Big Winch... Main plates are a couple pieces of 3/8" thick angle that I had laying around.. Put in another crossmember and ran the winch mounts between it and the front of the frame.. Also, made a front mount and fairlead mount from some 1/4" angle that I found in the garage.. Winch mounted with a new fairlead for the synthetic rope..

He got it running around under it's own power last weekend:) And it flexes really good, I'm sure Eddie will post some shots soon! It will be at Crozet next weekend, maybe not 100% but it is very wheelable!

Looks a lot closer to being a done deal. Can't wait to see the immediate finished product... and I'd love to go next weekend to Crozet, but... with the way things are going right now, I'm already not making this month's meeting and have to make some catch-up QT with my wife... then, I might get to go and play with the boys haha

Looking good. At least the neighbor haters will be off your back. You should go put a tire on his car and see how it flexes.

She transitions nicely from squating/sitting to moving in either direction... How does she do when turning?... Does she lean Much? Man, that's a Nice toy, I can't wait to see some actual action footage.
