Looks like a neat platform for a build Bryan. Do is the going to be dual purpose, or a trailer rig? Oh, and love the ladder rack.

dual purpose I can't really afford a tow rig so I gotta go dual purpose. and the ladder rack and tool box have already been removed as well as the door. I will get a couple pictures of the door tomorrow I gotta let the digi cam charge up

things I got done today removed the bed, rear bumper, and trailer hitch sanded and primed the roof I gutted the interior
Tomorrow I plan on pulling the dash because there is a very bad leak coming from the window causing some little green monsters (corrosion) to wreak havoc on the wiring so I am gonna take out the dash and try to salvage the wiring.

For those of you that saw my other thread about tearing up my driverside door in the garage here are a couple pictures after I tried to bend it back but as you can see it didn't work. and here are a couple of what I got done yesterday. I didn't get anything else done except for trying to figure out how to shorten the wheelbase and I think I got it just need a welder now.

I did the same thing to an '81 F250's driver's door. How I didn't break the glass is beyond me.

I know why I didn't break my glass it was rolled down and all the damage was on the top of the door

Today after work I made some good progress. I got the dash removed, I cut the front clip off to make room for the older front clip like I did on the broncoII, I unbolted the drive shaft and unplugged the harness to the tranny and transfer case, I am planning on pulling the motor/tranny/tcase but that will have to wait till friday morning, I am gonna head down to PNP and find a 4.0 with the lift hooks because my motor doesn't have any on it, after I get the motor out I plan on getting my buddy to go through the motor for me cause it leaks a whole lot of oil and I want him to see if the motor is damaged from lack of water. While the trans is out I plan on cracking the case and flushing the inside out because the shifter bushings are non existing so the parts had to go somewhere. On friday the windshield will also be pulled while the glass guy is replacing my brothers windshield I will have a new windshield installed after I paint the cab. I will get some pics of the progress tomorrow

I got the motor pulled tonight I just need to get it on the engine stand and out of the way. I still need to get the trans and tcase out but That will probably have to wait a couple of days I gotta get some of the carnage out of my garage so I can work on my brothers RX8 tomorrow if the parts come in. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I can get the rest of the junk out from under the truck and then I can start prepping the body. I got a pretty cool paint scheme in mind I even plan on using an acctual paint gun instead of rattle cans hahahahaha

all I did today was soak the frame in krudkutter and then pressure washed everything. While doing this I uncovered some cancer it started on the crossmember right under the back of the cab and the frame hase some rough scales but I think if I get the crossmember which has about a dime sized hole out I can treat the frame and probably go ahead and plate it in that area. In order for me to pull that crossmember I need to remove the cab this will also allow me to inspect the rest of the frame more in depth. I am gonna have to call on some of my buddies to lift the cab off of the frame, any volunteers?
